Flying Prototypes & Mockups

The SAL Design and Development team is based in the beautiful state of Goa, India. The Propulsion system has been developed and being fine-tuned by the Flowcopter team based out of Scotland, UK. Together the SAL teams work toward creating and prototyping the aircrafts. In the journey of identifying the type of VTOL we intend to finally go with, we have tried and tested, i.e. FLOWN, almost every conceivable configuration to understand their merits and drawbacks. 

Though a lot of simulation and trials happen at the Flowcopter facility, the Design and development team in Goa believes in quick prototyping and flying an appropriately scaled model to test it out. There are just 30 varied craft trials shown in this video, and there are more to be added soon, and this should serve to highlight that we are not just imagining crafts on the drawing boards, we put our ideas to the test in the air.
